Note: Analysis results may be used to improve our AI models, train new capabilities, and enhance service quality as described in Section 3.2.
1.5 Payment Information
Payment information is collected and processed by our third-party payment processors. We do not store complete credit card information on our servers. We receive and store: - Payment method type (e.g., Visa ending in 1234) - Billing email - Transaction history and invoice data
1.6 Communications
We collect information when you: - Contact our support team - Respond to surveys or feedback requests - Subscribe to newsletters or marketing emails
2. CRITICAL: We Do NOT Store Your Images
WE DO NOT STORE, RETAIN, OR HAVE ANY ABILITY TO RETRIEVE UPLOADED IMAGES.
When you upload an image to Ice9.ai: 1. The image is received by our servers 2. The image is held in memory temporarily during processing (typically seconds to minutes) 3. The image is analyzed by our AI models 4. Structured analysis results (data) are generated 5. The image is immediately and permanently purged from memory 6. Only the analysis results (metadata, labels, coordinates) are retained
We have no capability to reconstruct, retrieve, or reproduce your images after processing is complete. Images are never written to disk, never stored in databases, and never backed up.
3. How We Use Your Information
3.1 To Provide the Service
- Process image analysis requests
- Generate and deliver analysis results
- Maintain your account and API access
- Process billing and payments
- Provide customer support
3.2 To Improve the Service
- Monitor and analyze usage patterns
- Debug errors and improve performance
- Train and improve AI models using analysis results and structured data (NOT images)
- Fine-tune model accuracy and reduce errors/hallucinations
- Build aggregated datasets from analysis results for model development
- Develop new features and capabilities
- Quality assurance and testing
- Benchmark model performance
Important clarifications: - We do NOT train on your uploaded images (images are never stored) - We MAY train on analysis results (the structured data/labels/coordinates we generate) - Training data is typically aggregated and anonymized - Individual analysis results remain associated with your account and are not shared with third parties
3.3 To Communicate with You

4. How We Share Your Information

5. Data Retention
5.1 Account Data
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.
5.2 Analysis Results
Analysis results (structured data output) are retained indefinitely and associated with your account unless you request deletion.
5.3 API Logs
API access logs are retained for up to 90 days for security, debugging, and billing verification purposes.
5.4 Billing Records
We retain billing and transaction records for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations.
5.5 Uploaded Images
Uploaded images are NOT retained. Images are immediately purged from memory after processing (typically within seconds to minutes).
5.6 Deletion Requests
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting privacy@ice9.ai. Note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information:
6.1 Encryption
- All data transmitted to and from the Service uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
- API keys are stored in hashed form
- Sensitive data at rest is encrypted
6.2 Access Controls

6.4 No Image Storage = Reduced Risk
Because we do not store uploaded images, the risk of image data breaches is eliminated. Even in the event of a security incident, your images cannot be compromised because we do not have them.
6.5 Limitations
No security system is perfect. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your API keys and account credentials.
7. Your Privacy Rights
7.1 Access and Portability
You have the right to access your personal information and analysis results. You can download your data through the Service interface or by contacting us.
7.2 Correction
You may update or correct your account information through your account settings.
7.3 Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and personal information by contacting privacy@ice9.ai. We will delete your information subject to legal retention requirements.
7.4 Opt-Out of Marketing
You may opt out of marketing emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by contacting us.
7.5 API Data Management
You can delete individual analysis results through the API or by contacting support.
7.6 Opt-Out of Training Data Usage
You may opt out of having your analysis results used for AI model training and improvement by contacting privacy@ice9.ai with the subject line "Opt-Out of Training Data."
What this means: - Your analysis results will be marked as excluded from training datasets - We will continue to store your results for your own retrieval - Opting out does not affect Service functionality or pricing - Aggregated/anonymized data created before your opt-out request may still be used - Enterprise customers may negotiate training opt-out terms in their contracts
8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
8.1 Right to Know
You have the right to request information about the personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months, including: - Categories of personal information collected - Sources of personal information - Business or commercial purposes for collecting information - Categories of third parties with whom we share information - Specific pieces of personal information we have collected
8.2 Right to Delete
You have the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
